Coca-Cola Amatil and Hungry Jack’s have extended their partnership until 2030, the companies have said.
Coca-Cola Amatil’s Managing Director of Australian Beverages Peter West (right in picture) joined Hungry Jack’s Chair Jack Cowin (left) in making the announcement.
“Together, we’ve served Hungry Jack’s customers the food and drinks they love for more than 47 years,” Mr West said. “We look forward to doing so well into the future.
“With Hungry Jack’s, we’ve evolved our portfolio to suit consumers. It now includes innovations like Frozen Coke and Coca-Cola No Sugar. We’re committed to this relationship so that together we will continue to deliver a great restaurant experience for Hungry Jack’s customers.”
Hungry Jack’s Australia is Australian owned but affiliated with the Burger King Global Chain. Australia is one of the largest markets for the chain outside the US. Hungry Jack’s Australia says its beverage agreement with Coca-Cola Amatil is the longest contracted term for beverage exclusivity for the chain globally.
‘Iconic brands’
Hungry Jack’s Chair Jack Cowin says consumers “love the combination of two iconic brands”. He also claims 80 per cent of transactions at Hungry Jack’s nationally include a Coca-Cola Amatil beverage.
“When your burgers are better, you want to have great beverages on the menu too,” he said.
“Since I opened the first Hungry Jack’s store in Innaloo in Perth 47 years ago, we’ve proudly served Coca-Cola Amatil beverages.
“Today, we’re 427 stores strong and present in every state in Australia. We’re excited to continue our exclusive partnership selling Coca-Cola Amatil beverages in every one of those stores.”
