Caltex returns to Darwin and beyond

The all-new Caltex service stations are returning to the Northern Territory.

Ten Puma Energy sites have been rebranded to Caltex around Darwin and in Katherine, with another seven sites on the way.

Caltex is a brand owned by Chevron, one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies with more than 70 years of history in Australia.

General Manager for Caltex in Australia Lorne Chambers says after acquiring Puma Energy (Australia) in 2020, Chevron began a national program to rebrand most Puma sites to Caltex, the brand Chevron has owned for more than 70 years.

“Drivers will see the trusted Caltex star rise across Darwin and Northern Territory sites between now and early 2024,” Mr Chambers said.

“We’re excited to return to the Northern Territory, and proud to build on the history of the Caltex and Puma brands. Already, we’ve seen increased customer interest and new retail partners join the Caltex brand across the country.”

Across the NT, convenience store brand OTR is partnering with Caltex to deliver a smart and seamless retail experience for customers.

Caltex offers high-quality fuels with the specially formulated fuel system-cleaning ingredient Techron available in every fuel grade (excluding low aromatic fuels).

“Caltex with Techron will help your car’s engine deliver maximised power and better fuel economy,” Mr Chambers said.

Customers will also benefit from Caltex premium lubricants for petrol and diesel engines and the new fully adaptable StarCard fleet management system with a variety of control and usage options.

Caltex Delo’s ISOSYN Technology is the brand’s high-performance diesel engine oil, while Havoline will be available for petrol engines.

“Caltex is committed to the Australian market and making its products available to customers where and when they need them,” Mr Chambers said.

“Whether you’re running the family car, the station or the company fleet, we’re here to support you.

“We look forward to powering many more journeys ahead in the Northern Territory and across Australia with our vibrant new Caltex network.”
