Freedom Foods Group is shaking up the portable liquid breakfast market with a new premium liquid breakfast range. The Australia’s Own brand has introduced Breakfast Blend Robusta Coffee, Cocoa and Spiced Vanilla flavoured liquid breakfasts, made from a blend of almond, oats and natural flavours without the use of soy.
The launch comes at a time when the liquid breakfast market sector is worth $159 million, as consumers become increasingly health-conscious and time poor.
“There has been phenomenal growth within this category in retail,” Australia’s Own Brand Manager Rebecca Hermez said. ”As we diversify and grow our brand, we have identified that consumers, especially women, are looking for better ways keep sustained in between meals
“Although there is a major player in the market, there is room for a premium five-star offer which is currently not filling this gap within this evolving channel. With convenience as the driving factor, we have developed a versatile liquid breakfast that is tailored to consumers looking for a better way to enjoy breakfast on the go and there are more flavours and formats in the pipeline.
“We have a 330ml pack available, and a 250ml multipack will be available soon. Our blend of both almond and oat is a first for the liquid breakfast category. As a company driven by health, we wanted to develop a product range with a good nutritional criteria, keeping in mind the power of taste”.
