In the months of July and November, Ampol’s national Foodary retail network will collectively raise crucial funds for The Sebastian Foundation, The Smith Family and Surf Life Saving Australia.
Foodary stores across Australia will be allocated one of these three partners to ensure a broad base of contributions across the communities in which Ampol operates.
Backed by the generosity of Ampol’s supply partners, 10 cents from every purchase of The Natural Confectionary Co and Sour Patch Kids (180-230g range), Ice Break (500ml range), Maltesers (60g box) and Pepsi-Schweppes (600ml range) at participating Ampol Foodary stores will be donated as part of the campaign.
Customers can also donate in-store at the counter or online.
Ampol Executive General Manager, Retail Australia, Kate Thomson says the revamped retail fundraising program aligns with the Ampol Foundation’s support of youth education, community safety and mental health initiatives.
“We are proud to fundraise for our incredible Ampol Foundation partners The Sebastian Foundation, Surf Life Saving Australia and The Smith Family across July and November,” Ms Thomson said.
“This new approach highlights our commitment to having a positive impact on our communities and supporting all Australians in need.
“I’d like to thank our retail convenience staff and suppliers for their ongoing dedication to raising crucial funds for our Ampol Foundation key partners.”
Monies raised from the Ampol Foundation fundraising program will go directly to The Sebastian Foundation’s Open Parachute mental health program, The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program, and to upgrade or replace vital Surf Life Saving Australia safety equipment in addition to water hazard education and training volunteer lifesavers.
