A new snack range for Coon Cheese and Cracker Barrel is one of the many changes Warrnambool Cheese & Butter (WCB) is making to its cheese portfolio.
Since the acquisition of the everyday cheese brands Coon, Cracker Barrel and Mil Lel from Lion Drinks and Dairy in 2015, WCB has been working to innovate, upgrade and improve the company’s offerings in line with consumers’ evolving needs.
Part of WCB’s new portfolio includes the launch of a new snacks range for both Coon and Cracker Barrel, addressing the growing trend of savoury snacking on the go for children and adults.
“People are leading increasingly busy lifestyles where they snack on the go, so we wanted to create an offering that made it easy and convenient to enjoy these time-honoured classics from Coon and Cracker Barrel,” WCB General Manager of Marketing Ted Lawson said.
Both Snacks ranges come in 20g portions (eight pieces,) with Coon Snacks retailing for $4.99 and Cracker Barrel Snacks for $5.49.
In addition, WCB’s existing ranging has undergone facial and convenience upgrades, with Cracker Barrel being given a new look and feel to appeal to a broader audience. Coon Colby, Tasty, and Mil Lel Parmesan’s shred ranges are also available in new easy-to-open packaging in consumer-friendly sizes.
