Toby’s Estate is giving away free coffee in Sydney to celebrate its flagship cafe and roastery in Chippendale being crowned the world’s best coffee shop.
Last week, the establishment was recognised as the world’s best at CoffeeFest Madrid in Spain. The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops is a new global recognition system where coffee shops around the globe are judged on the criteria of Quality of Coffee, Barista Experience, Customer Service, Innovation, Ambience and Atmosphere, Sustainability Practices, Food and Pastry Quality, and Consistency.
This Thursday (27 February) between 7:30am and 11am, the cafe will give visitors the chance to share in the celebration.
“For this Thursday morning only, grab yourself a free brew from the experts, watch the magic happen from the island brew bar and see the roastery in full swing through the glass doors,” says Toby’s Estate. “A live DJ will also be on the tunes to bring the party vibe.”
Toby’s Estate General Manager Jody Leslie adds that Toby’s is so thrilled with this new honour, for both the roaster and the whole of Australia.
“It’s a testament to the amazing coffee that our country is so good at and that we’ve all come to love and expect,” she says.
