Coffee roaster Single O has launched its highly anticipated ‘24 Sugarplum festive blend. Marking twelve years of its annual Sugarplum blend, the ‘Sleigh Edition’ captures the spirit of celebration and continues the roaster’s legacy of innovation.
The 2024 Sugarplum blend features notes of cranberry, sweet plum, and cherry, crafted from a blend of Single O’s favourite washed and natural process coffees of 2024 – washed Kenya Nyeri and natural Sumatra Aceh Gayo. Suited to every brewing method and enjoyed black or with milk, hot or cold, Sugarplum is available in 250g and 1kg bags, and in Parachute drip coffee bags.
“For me, the annual launch of Sugarplum signals the start of the festive season,” says Mike Brabant CEO of Single O. “This year’s ‘Sleigh Edition’ is a balanced, powerful and cheerful blend that the team are really excited about.”
To celebrate the festive season, Single O is also launching the ‘Cherry Sleigh’, a cold foam specialty drink available for a limited time at Single O Surry Hills and Newstead cafes. Made with a double shot of Sugarplum, oat milk, and topped with a cherry, coconut, and lime cold foam, the drink is finished with a cherry garnish for a festive touch.
In the spirit of giving, Single O has partnered with La Marzocco Home to offer an exclusive giveaway. Every purchase of Single O’s Sugarplum ‘Sleigh Edition’ blend from the online store enters customers into a draw to win a Linea Micra home espresso machine, valued at $5,999.00.
This edition showcases vibrant artwork by local artist Stefan Hunt, who applied his creative talents to Sugarplum coffee bags and Parachute boxes with a festive depiction of Christmas in a cup.
Single O’s Sugarplum ‘24 ‘Sleigh Edition’ is now available to purchase via Single O’s website, cafes, and cafe partners. The coffee beans retail for $26 for 250g, or $88 for 1kg. Parachutes RRP 5 pack for $15, 10 pack for $30, 20 pack for $54.
The ‘Cherry Sleigh’ beverage is available for a limited time at Single O Surry Hills (60/64 Reservoir St, Surry Hills NSW) and Newstead (16 Austin St, Newstead Queensland).
