Proper Crisps says it’s adding a “burst of colour and flavour” to snacking with its latest product, Big Cut Purple & Gold.
Promoted as an evolution of the popular Proper Crisps’ Cracked Pepper flavour, Purple & Gold features thickly cut golden and purple potatoes, “dusted” with a “proper pinch” of Marlborough Sea Salt and a “colourful blend” of freshly cracked pepper.
“We’re excited to debut Purple & Gold as the new and improved replacement for Cracked Pepper in our Big Cut range,” says Proper Crisps Senior Brand Manager Hayley Lewis.
“Purple & Gold sets a new standard in Australia, featuring potatoes with a unique burst of colour.”
In keeping with Proper Crisps’ Big Cut style, Purple & Gold crisps are unpeeled, thickly sliced, and cooked slowly to create a “gloriously blistery texture”.
“This product is a great alternative to those found on supermarket shelves with very minimal and simple ingredients,” says nutritionist Monique Pendlebury.
“Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and free from artificial additives and preservatives, Purple & Gold is crafted with nothing but real ingredients.”
