V Energy celebrates Valentine’s Day with limited-edition straw

V Energy has launched the “game-changing” V-Straw on Instagram to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

According to the energy drink brand, the V-shaped glass straw “legitimately” only works when a beverage is sipped in tandem by two loved ones.

The limited-edition straw, numbered to only 45 across both Australia and New Zealand, is available via an Instagram competition. The contest asks participants to explain how they met their loved one using only emojis.

“While Valentine’s Day carries the weight of tradition, it often loses the spontaneity and fun that make moments truly memorable,” says V Energy Head of Marketing Josh Wheeler.

“That’s why at V, we’re flipping the script by introducing the chance to share a sip with our V-shaped straw. By infusing this occasion with our mission to spread positive energy, we aim to ignite that iconic V energy among couples nationwide.

The competition is open to those over the age of 18 and closes at midnight tonight (14 February).
