Australian artisanal chocolatier, Koko Black is ushering in the Year of the Dragon for the 2024 Lunar New Year. In celebration of the holiday, Koko Black is waving its magic touch on the gifting tradition by unveiling a range of indulgent chocolate treats.
In an ode to the Year of the Dragon, Koko Black offers a bespoke 48-piece light up Lunar Lantern – an extra special package with light both figuratively and literally – containing a nine-layered gold foil tower that holds a variety of 48 pralines. Once the pralines are consumed, the beautiful package can be used as decor. The lantern also contains a light in the top layer draw, ideal for lighting the tea ceremony.
Joining the Lunar Lantern is the Eight-Piece Lucky Lunar Pralines (with four assortments of the fruity-sweet treat), the 25-Piece Chocolatier’s Collection, and the brand new Sichuan Pepper Praline. “Koko Black has never been shy to innovate, and its new praline is a tribute to the brand’s creativity and the dragon’s fire-breathing ability.” Blending smooth white chocolate with mandarin ganache, this rich dark chocolate praline heroes the added flavour of the sichuan pepper.

Essential to the gifting tradition, the Hóng Bāo signifies good fortune for the year ahead. The full range will be available in stores from Tuesday 16 January 2024.
