10-year-old primary school student Grace Lewis’ hand-drawn design has been chosen to become the official artwork on Pizza Hut Racing’s Comaro Supercar, worth $1 million.
Making its grand debut at the final round of the 2024 Supercars Championship on the streets of Adelaide last week, Ms Lewis’ ‘Super Pizza Car’ named design was said to have been seen by millions of Australians.
The design features a number of colourful red logo designs and shapes, with the window frames of the car also hand-coloured with bright red texter.
“Grace’s entry truly touched our hearts – her unwavering dedication, even while juggling school commitments, exemplifies the passion that fuels Supercars fans,” says Pizza Hut Director of Marketing Simon Stocks.
“It was a no-brainer for us to showcase her adorable work on our car, embodying our commitment to bringing Supercars fans and our customers closer together.”
Currently one year into a three-year partnership agreement, the collaboration between Pizza Hut Racing and Brad Jones Racing is promoted as a “natural fit between two icons with a rich history in their respective industries”, with BJR having entered the championship in 2000 and Pizza Hut Australia first opening its doors in 1970.
