OTR will open its 155th store tomorrow (Thursday, 23 July) in Salisbury North.
The latest opening comes just over 35 years that founder Fred Shahin opened the family’s first outlet in Woodville Park.
OTR Salisbury North creates 15 much-needed retail positions for the local community. The award-winning retailer is one of the State’s largest private sector employers – already employing more than 3100 South Australians.
“OTR continues to be the state’s most innovative convenience retailers,” says OTR General Manager, Darryl Cotter.
“We are proud to be investing in our stores and championing job growth within South Australia, with nearly 300 jobs created so far in 2020.”
The new store will be operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and features a curated range of supermarket essentials, a premium range of BP fuel, and renowned OTR brands with fresh food from EAT and frozen drinks by CHILL.
Customers will also be able to enjoy new offerings like OTR’s locally roasted, barista-made C Coffee, freshly squeezed OhJ! and New York-style hot dogs Moe’s Dog & Shake, plus famous Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
“We aim to treat our customers to a seamless and easy in-store experience, offering the very best in convenience retailing with our award-winning fuel and food offers, plus many added extras,” says Mr Cotter.
Customers are also encouraged to help OTR give back to community groups through the innovative OTRGive program – via the OTR App. Every time a customer shops or refuels at OTR with the OTR App, the company makes a donation on their behalf to their community group of choice – at no cost to the customer. Donations to the community through OTRGive have exceeded $295,000.
OTR Salisbury North customers will be encouraged to download the OTR App to boost the community giving program. Customers who download the OTR App will be able to claim a regular C Coffee for free and have ongoing access to OTR’s Buy 4 Get 1 Free Rewards.
The new store is located at 102 Waterloo Corner Rd, Paralowie.
