7-Eleven and Mobil are collaborating with Brad Jones Racing (BJR) for The Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama.
Having supported BJR at the WD-40 Phillip Island SuperSprint earlier this year, 7-Eleven and Mobil says they are “thrilled” to extend this relationship at Mount Panorama for Australia’s most famous race.
Nick Percat and Tim Blanchard will be the drivers of the BJR Holden Commodore in the Pirtek Endurance Cup’s first event.
7-Eleven and Mobil’s connection to motorsport
7-Eleven launched in Australia in 1977, and in line with its objective of providing a market leading experience it appreciates the passion Australians feel for motorsport.
Mobil too has a long history with Mount Panorama, famously teaming up with Peter Brock for many years – including his final Bathurst 1000 victory in 1987 in a Mobil Holden VL Commodore.
This will see the 7-Eleven Mobil racing supercar on track at Mount Panorama from tomorrow.
“The Bathurst 1000 is anything but predictable; this race can mentally destroy drivers and teams or help you produce the greatest moment in your life,” team owner Brad Jones said.
Collaboration provides fuel and fuel app
“This collaboration further highlights our relationship with Mobil fuels,” 7-Eleven Senior Category Marketing Manager Vicky Dolman said.
“Not only are we excited to go racing in the nation’s biggest race, we’re pleased to offer high quality Mobil fuels and provide great value to customers using our market leading fuel app, which has been downloaded more than 1.7 million times.”
The partnership will also have many prizes on offer, including 50 caps, 30 pit tours, five hot laps and two major prizes that include two tickets to the 2020 Bathurst 1000 and two hot laps throughout the year.
