The opening of 7-Eleven’s latest store in Western Australia, on Thursday 16 May, sees the brand’s network grow to 60 stores with a team of more than 750 across the state.
In the decade since 7-Eleven launched in the state, the company has invested more than $60 million dollars in growing its network.
“This significant investment is part of 7-Eleven’s ongoing commitment to provide West Australians with access to the same choice and convenience available on the Eastern Seaboard, as well as local job opportunities,” said Nicholas Maddox, 7-Eleven Area Lead – South.
“Our investment includes stores across metropolitan Perth, and seven stores in the South-West including Withers. We will continue to invest in growing in Perth as well as expand our network in regional Western Australia.”
The latest store, 7-Eleven Withers, is located at Lot 12, No 1 Ocean Queen Road. It offers the community food and convenience options including 7-Eleven’s handmade sandwiches, wraps and Krispy Kreme doughnuts, as well as 7-Eleven’s freshly ground Fairtrade Certified coffee, Slurpee including Slurpee No Sugar options and frozen blended Smoothies, Frappes and Shakes.
“Our Store Leader Ravi Patel and his team have been doing an amazing job working to get this store stocked and ready to welcome our customers on opening day,” Mr Maddox said.
The store also offers high quality Mobil fuels and has the My 7-Eleven App including fuel price lock feature.
“7-Eleven Australia provides its customers with the traditional convenience items, fuel and essentials they expect. In addition, our food offer is something we are famous for,” Mr Maddox said.
“We want to continue to lead the market in food on the go as we work with our new owners 7-Eleven International and leverage their expertise in this area.”
