7-Eleven Australia is continuing to invest in growth, with 7-Eleven Melton East opening at 112 High Street Melton in Victoria on Thursday, 8 October. The store is the seventh store the company has opened since the start of August, four of which have been in Victoria.
Experienced store manager, and Melton local Guru Borra will be leading the team who have been redeployed from other stores in the network.
“I live locally so am very excited to be opening a brand new store in my community. I am leading a team of 11 experienced team members and our goal is to use our experience to deliver beyond expectations for our new customers from the moment we welcome them to the new store. Our offer is fantastic, and with the team I have, we are looking forward to getting to know the local customers, and make any adjustments needed to give our customers what they want, when they want it,” Mr Borra said.
The new store will provide a range of convenient products and services. Shoppers will be able to grab their favourite products and fill up at any time as the store will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It will feature a full range of fresh food and convenience options including; 7-Eleven’s handmade sandwiches, wraps and Krispy Kreme doughnuts which are delivered fresh every day, as well as 7-Eleven’s $1 freshly ground coffee, and Slurpee including Slurpee Low Sugar options.
The store will have the full range of Mobil fuel. Mobil brand fuels are engineered to work harder and improve fuel economy for the consumer. Fuels on offer include Supreme 98, Extra 95, Special E10, Special Unleaded 91 and Special Diesel.
According to 7-Eleven Victorian State Manager, Marc Costabile, the store is designed to provide locals with the products and services they want, in their neighbourhood.
“Our new store is there 24/7 to meet the needs of Melton locals. Whether people are looking for sandwiches, salads, drinks and some sweet treats for a picnic in the park, or snacks and some chocolate for a movie night at home, we have what our customers need right there in the local community,” Mr Costabile said.
“The services in the new store include 7-Eleven ParcelMate. This service allows customers to send parcels 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Just pop your item in the right size satchel and pay the relevant flat rate at when you drop off your parcel,” he said.
The company’s ongoing growth is providing career opportunities for team members in both the corporate and franchised networks.
“Our network growth is providing lots of opportunities for our team members to take on new roles, new stores and new challenges.
