The next big thing in convenience retail is waiting to be discovered at Food & Hospitality Queensland

Food & Hospitality Queensland and Café & Coffee Experience are gearing up to welcome thousands of food, retail and hospitality professionals to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on 12–13 October 2026.

For convenience retailers, the countdown is on to discover the products, technologies and ideas shaping the future of the industry.

Featuring more than 170-plus brands and over 1200 products across food, beverage, equipment, technology and business solutions, the two-day event serves as a one-stop-shop destination for retailers looking to strengthen store operations and uncover new revenue streams.

Exhibitors range from established market leaders including Kraft Heinz, Mission Foods, Vili’s Family Bakery and Beerenberg Farm to innovative emerging brands and specialist suppliers. Beyond food and beverage products, attendees will be able to explore end-to-end operational solutions spanning payments, ordering systems, POS tech, and store automation, designed to boost efficiency and elevate the customer experience.

The event also features a two-day education program where industry leaders share practical perspectives on growth, customer behaviour, and business performance. High-profile speakers scheduled to share their insights include Chris Ravlich of Retail Food Group, Sam Taylor of Soul Origin, Aaron Prosser of Beyond Payments, Warren Jones of Mission Foods, and Sean Carthew of Burger Urge.

Additionally, attendees gain access to the co-located Café & Coffee Experience, a dedicated trade event focused on the booming Queensland café and beverage sector. With specialty coffee, bakery items, and ready-to-eat offerings becoming central to modern convenience formats, the show floor provides valuable inspiration for broadening in-store offerings.

With just one month until doors open, registration is available for trade professionals looking to refresh their range and discover what’s next for their stores. Standard trade tickets are $39, but Convenience World readers can register for free by using the code CONVENIENCEWORLD at checkout.
