                 ON THE SHELF  MR LEE’S EXPANDS INTO INSTANT CONGEE Mr Lee’s Pure Foods is launching its new range, Mr Lee’s Congee, this winter. The savoury instant rice porridges are said to be ready within only three minutes and made with authentic Asian style flavours, natural ingredients and a unique four-grain blend. They’re also claimed to be low in sugar and made with “absolutely no nasties”. The range (RRP $4 per cup) is available in Original Congee Porridge and Chicken Congee Porridge flavours.    BLUEY BRINGS ‘MORE FUN’ TO PAULS Pauls is “upping the fun” on a range of its custards and yoghurts with the launch of new children’s products featuring “Australia’s favourite blue heeler”, Bluey. The “popular” cartoon character and family will feature on Pauls Kids 70g Vanilla Yoghurt and across the range of Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry 70g custard pouches. Promoted as being packed with the “goodness” of dairy, Pauls Kids Yoghurts and Custards are said to be a tasty way to give kids calcium, making them a great snack for at home, on the go or the school lunch box. Pauls Kids Yoghurts are also claimed to contain the vitamins and minerals that a growing body requires. The yoghurt retails for $1.30, the custard for $1.50.        A ‘CRUELTY-FREE’ SOLUTION TO SANITISING HANDS The Department of Brands, the team behind ethical brands Bar None and Brite, has launched its “revolutionary, vegan and cruelty-free” venture, Daily Shield. The “next generation” brand boasts an antibacterial hand sanitiser that it claims keeps the user protected for up to 24 hours of wear. Said to be unique among sanitisers, Daily Shield is “fragranced with notes of buttery vanilla and lemon cake for a heavenly scent with every pump”. With 100 applications in each bottle, consumers can apply Daily Shield as frequently as needed throughout the day. Its size is described as perfect for keeping the product in the bag or car, ready to use when required.   ‘CLEANER’ AND PLANT BASED CH’EESY MAC Uptons Naturals has introduced a pre-cooked vegan Ch’eesy Mac, which it says offers a “cleaner” and plant- based take on the classic comfort food. It’s available in original Ch’eesy Mac and Ch’eesy Bacon Mac varieties. Packaged with ready-to-eat, large and ridged macaroni noodles and a prepared pouch of nutritional yeast- based cheese, Ch’eesy Mac is also claimed to be low in sugar and completely free of nuts, dairy, oil, trans fat, cholesterol, GMOs and artificial flavours.
