DORITOS MOUNTAIN DEW FLAVOUR A ‘GLOBAL FIRST’ Doritos Mountain Dew combines the “refreshing taste” of Mountain Dew soft drink with the “iconic crunch” of Doritos corn chips in a limited-edition snack offer. “We’re excited to be launching this global first for Doritos here in Australia,” Doritos Brand Manager Eric Burke said. “To create this unique flavour, we partnered with our beverages and research and development teams to ensure we got the flavour just right, and we think our consumers are going to love the result.” The launch is being supported through a social and digital campaign, as well as in-store activations with “eye-catching” point of sale. ‘NATURAL’ BARS TO GO NUTS OVER Koja Natural Peanut Butter Bars are said to be made using only natural ingredients: no preservatives, emulsifiers, artificial sweeteners, stabilisers or “nasty” additives. Consisting of Australian peanuts rich in protein and healthy fats, the product is available in Choc Chip Crunch, Peanut Caramel, and Chocolate flavours. According to Koja, unlike other snacks that boast ‘no added sugar’ but are high in dried fruits and other natural sweeteners, Koja bars contain less than a teaspoon of sugar per bar, leaving more room for the nutrition and sustainable energy boost one’s body needs.
