ON THE SHELF GOLDEN GAYTIME POPS UP WITH COCO COMBOS Golden Gaytime and Coco Pops have joined forces to bring what is promoted as Australia’s favourite ice cream and chocolate breakfast cereal together in two creations. The Coco Pops Golden Gaytime flavour cereal brings “golden toffee-vanilla deliciousness” to the morning breakfast bowl, while the Coco Pops flavoured Golden Gaytime sees the “chocolatey” cereal-flavoured reduced-fat ice cream topped with Coco Pops-flavoured biscuit crumbs. The cereal and ice cream are both available in supermarkets, with the ice cream also available in select convenience stores. LITTLE SHAPES BIG ON ‘FLAVOUR-FILLED CRUNCH’ Shapes Mini Bites are promoted as a “delicious, pint-sized snack that packs big flavour into a pop-able format”. Said to be different to the traditional Shapes, Mini Bites has a “lighter” texture and a smaller biscuit. The brand claims that this creates a new kind of “flavour-filled crunch” that Shapes fans new and old will love. Shapes Mini Bites (RRP from $3.20) have launched in Supreme Cheese, Sour Cream and Onion, and Sticky BBQ Wings flavours. ‘KIND TO THE BODY’ SNACK BARS Kind has landed in Australia with the arrival of its “tasty and wholesome” snack bar range. Kind products, which are said to have received international acclaim in the UK and US, use “premium, better-for-you” ingredients that are “kind to the body, without sacrificing quality or flavour”. Packed with “nutrient- dense first ingredients” such as fruit, nuts and wholegrains, Kind bars are claimed to be gluten free and contain no artificial colours, artificial flavours or preservatives. The range also features bars that are promoted as high in fibre and protein. Kind bars now available: • Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt • Caramel Almond & Sea Salt • Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate • Almond & Coconut. Kind Protein bars now available: • Crunchy Peanut Butter • Dark Chocolate Nut. Kind products are available from $3 in Coles, Coles Express, IGA, 7-Eleven, BP and EG stores, and on Amazon. RED ROCK DELI GOES CRACKERS You may know Red Rock Deli for “crunchy and flavoursome” potato chips, but now the team is branching out to new shelves. The snacking brand is launching a new range of Deli Style Crackers, made with “only the finest quality ingredients”. The product is also said to be “baked until perfectly light and crispy and then generously seasoned with Deli- inspired flavour combinations”. The flavours available include: • Honey Soy Chicken • Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream • Cheddar & Parmesan. Additionally, the brand is launching a “new cheese platter staple”: Gourmet Crackers – with “a light, crispy texture complimented with real baked- in ingredients”. It’s available in these flavours: • Murray River Pink Salt & Black Pepper • Sundried Tomato & Italian Herbs • Aged Cheddar & Caramelised Onion. “We’re excited to bring our flavour expertise to the cracker category,” PepsiCo ANZ Marketing Manager Susan Press said. “We’re launching not one but two new ranges for our consumers to enjoy. Both ranges are sure to become picnic and cheese board staples with some truly unique, mouth- watering flavour combinations.” Both ranges and all flavours are now available nationally.
