                 CONFECTIONERY EXPAND Marble bar showcases a new look Cadbury Dairy Milk Marble is made up of dairy milk chocolate and a ‘Dream’ white chocolate blend with hazelnut praline centre. It is the first product to carry the new Cadbury logo, with both the logotype and Glass and a Half image redesigned under this brand refresh. The fresh typography is aimed at reinforcing the distinctive Cadbury Dairy Milk look and feel at a time when consumers want authentic, high quality products they can trust, says Cadbury spokesman Jake Hatton. He adds that Cadbury Dairy Milk Marble was reintroduced due to fan demand. A 173g bar retails for RRP $5. Random mix of sour, fruity jellies Allen’s Sourz Tangy Randoms are a random mix of lightly sour, fruit flavoured jellies that are marketed as extending the offering to the whole family. With so many possible combos of fun shapes, textures and flavours, Allen’s says consumers never quite know what they’ll pick out next. The jellies are made in Australia. A 170g bag retails for RRP $2.95. Raspberry lollies marry milk chocolate Allen’s says its Mini Chocolate Raspberries provide the brand’s lolly lovers with that “indulgent” moment they’re seeking. “In mini bite-size form, these raspberry and banana sweets are a great treat for lolly and chocolate lovers everywhere,” Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery Joyce Tan said. “They’re the perfect treat for all occasions, from picnics to parties, promising to have everyone reaching into the bag for more.” The confectionery contains no artificial colours or flavours and is gluten free. A 140g bag retails for RRP $4.50. Freddo packs reflect plight of frogs Cadbury’s Freddo is promoted as being made of pure Cadbury milk chocolate and individually wrapped to make for the perfect sweet snack to stock up on or share with friends and family. For a limited time, the Freddo Frog on pack has been replaced by images of some of Australia and New Zealand’s most endangered frog species, including the “much-loved” southern corroboree. Cadbury says these frogs are facing significant challenges to their survival, a problem exacerbated by recent bushfires.
