CONFECTIONERY EXPAND Violet Crumble Dark positively received across Australia The Violet Crumble Dark Bag and Bar have been received “positively” across Australia, with the “smooth dark choc perfectly complementing the sweetness of the shattering honeycomb centre”, says the manufacturer. The 50g dark bar is available nationally in Coles Express and Caltex stores at an RRP of $4.40. In South Australia, Violet Crumble fans can also get their hands on the dark bar in OTR, X Convenience and AMPM stores, as well as at the three Menz FruChoc stores in Glynde, Hahndorf and McLaren Vale. New vegan chewy candy Jelly Belly is adding chewy candy to its offerings – equal parts tasty and fun, says the candy manufacturer. Available from January 2021, new Jelly Belly chewy candy will feature Jelly Belly Candy Company’s “famous jellybean shape in delicious sour chewy candy flavours”. Jelly Belly chewy candy is “right on trend”: it’s vegan, contains no animal gelatin, and is made with colours from natural sources. “Don’t be fooled by the cute jellybean shape. Jelly Belly sour chewy candies pack an irresistible sour punch,” the manufacturer said. Available in five flavours – Sour Strawberry, Sour Apple, Sour Lemon, Sour Orange, and Sour Grape – these candies are finished with a “sour sanding that leaves lips puckered and mouths watering”. Jelly Belly chewy candy comes in three varieties of 60g GRAB and GOTM bags at a RRP of $2.50. Sour assorted mix, sour orange, sour lemon, and sour grape are available in select petrol and convenience stores and Kmart. Rocky road full of delicious raspberry milk choc The Raspberry Road Rocky Road Bar is “delicious” milk choc with “clouds” of marshmallows, coconut and crunchy puffed corn, “smothered” in creamy raspberry milk choc, The Rocky Road House Executive Manager Danielle Proctor says. The 200g bar has a RRP of $6.50. Confectionery fruit basket The Fruit Basket is a collection of fruit-shaped and fruit flavoured gum. “With orange, pear, strawberry, and lemon, they have all your favourites covered,” says the manufacturer.
