                 ON THE SHELF    THINGS HEAT UP FOR TIM TAMS Arnott’s Tim Tams are “bringing the heat” with their latest flavour. For a short time only, Aussies will have the opportunity to try the Dark Choc Chilli Tim Tam biscuit. The limited-edition release features two crunchy dark choc biscuits sandwiched together with a chocolate and chilli flavoured cream, covered in Tim Tam dark chocolate. The new addition (RRP $3.65) to the Tim Tam range is currently available in the biscuit aisle at Woolworths.  MONSTER REENERGISES WITH ‘TWO-IN-ONE’ SPORTS FORMULA In a first for the global brand, Monster Energy has launched a new sports focused drink, Superfuel. Said to be ideal for pre-work out power, a mid-session sip or post workout pick me up, Superfuel’s formula is a “unique combination that refuels, is super replenishing and infused with vitamins”. The new product is a non-carbonated, lightly sweetened beverage offering a “superior, two-in-one formula”. Claimed to be “packed” with electrolytes for general wellness and B3 + B6 vitamins to aid focus and exercise recovery, Superfuel contains the health benefits of a sports drink, “with just enough ‘Monster magic’ to get you fired up”. Superfuel is available in the flavours of Tropical Thunder, Purple Passion, Blue Ice and Zero Sugar Fantasy Fruit.   MR LEE’S ‘HEALTHY CONGEE IN AN INSTANT’ Mr Lee’s Pure Foods has recently launched Mr Lee’s Congee in Australia. Described as “healthy congee in an instant”, the new variety of the traditional East Asian breakfast are available in single flavour packs of eight cups or mixed boxes of four chicken and four original congees. The two varieties are claimed to be ready in three minutes and are made with authentic Asian-style flavours, natural ingredients, and a “unique” blend of four styles of grains. The range is also said to be low in sugar and made with “absolutely no nasties”. Additionally, the Chicken Congee Porridge flavour is made with “generous chunks” of RSPCA-approved chicken and the Original Congee Porridge is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.   TWO ADDITIONS TO DENADA RANGE The “all-natural, sugar-free” ice cream brand, Denada, has introduced two new flavours to its suite of tubs: Raspberry Ripple and Burnt Caramel Choc Flake. Raspberry Ripple is described as sweet but also a little tart and built on a creamy vanilla base. The Burnt Caramel Choc Flake, which is claimed to have taken “months and months” to perfect, includes dark choc flakes, burnt caramel sauce, all “swirling” through a creamy vanilla ice cream base. Denada is available in Coles supermarkets and select independents.
