According to the chocolate brand, the new product is crafted from the “finest” Ghanaian cocoa beans and batch roasted to create a “beautifully bitter” 72% dark chocolate. It’s also said to be “all ethically, fairly, sustainably produced” and 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified, with no palm oil.

“Whittaker’s produce good honest chocolate that is adored by chocolate lovers around Australia, which is why we’re thrilled to bring such a classic yet beautifully bitter 72% dark chocolate to market,” says Whittaker’s CEO Matt Whittaker.

“From our family to yours, we know the Dark Ghana will be a welcome household staple for Australians who enjoy and appreciate the finest quality, premium dark chocolate.”

Dark Ghana is available to purchase for RRP $6.50 from the confectionery aisles of Coles, Woolworths and selected independent retailers now.
