Viva Energy appoints Andrew Egan as General Manager Marketing

Viva Energy Australia has appointed Andrew Egan as General Manager Marketing, the company has announced.

Viva says the appointment signals its “renewed focus on retail customers, and in using market-driven insights to drive strong brand and value perception of the retail business in a highly competitive category”.

About Andrew

Mr Egan has held senior marketing, brand and consumer roles at Myer. His career spans both an agency and marketing background. According to Viva, he has a “strong understanding of the customer, brand building and driving strong commercial returns across multiple sectors, including retail department stores, aviation, FMCG, publishing, liquor, insurance and financial services”.

At Myer, his role as group general manager of marketing saw him lead the omnichannel brand management.

Viva says Mr Egan will bring a broad spectrum of skills and drive the “strategic direction” of its retail channel.

Executive General Manager Consumer at Viva Energy Megan Foster paid tribute to the calibre of Mr Egan’s experience.
