PepsiCo extends partnership with Clean Up Australia

PepsiCo Australia, has extended its partnership with environmental not-for-profit, Clean Up Australia, thanks to funding from the PepsiCo Foundation, PepsiCo’s philanthropic arm.

Over a two-year period, the partnership will be brought to life through a two-year team engagement program, recognising PepsiCo as a Bronze Partner. Via Clean Up activities and education that drives ongoing team and stakeholder engagement, the partnership aims to encourage PepsiCo employees to unite, get out into nature and improve their local environment.

With a commitment of more than 13,600 volunteer hours, the program will see PepsiCo employees hold clean-up activities nationwide. Clean Up Australia will also help to reinforce the importance of sustainable action and deliver key insights into Australia’s waste challenges by hosting a hybrid learning session led by CUA’s CEO, Jenny Geddes. As an extension, co-branded video content and infographics will assist Clean Up Australia’s community of volunteers on how to host a safe and successful Clean Up activation.

“Clean Up Australia is one of Australia’s most recognised and trusted environmental charities and this is an incredible opportunity to inspire not only our PepsiCo network, but also the wider community to help make a difference,” he says.

Jenny Geddes, CEO of Clean Up Australia, says PepsiCo’s contributions will enable to organisation to produce new resources that will help to educate Clean Up volunteers to achieve its mission of “improving and conserving our environment, eliminating litter, and ending waste”.

The extended collaboration reinforces PepsiCo Positive, PepsiCo’s strategic end-to-end transformation that puts sustainability at the centre of how it creates value and drives growth.
