PepsiCo appoints new CEO for Australia and New Zealand

PepsiCo has announced the appointment of Kyle Faulconer to the role of Chief Executive Officer for Australia and New Zealand. Mr Faulconer officially joins PepsiCo ANZ in January 2022.

Mr Faulconer will relocate to Sydney from his native US where he is currently Vice President and General Manager at PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay snacks business, responsible for leading the strategic agenda for Walmart, one of PepsiCo’s largest global customers.

PepsiCo APAC CEO Wern-Yuen Tan says Mr Faulconer’s deep customer experience, strong track-record of driving long term growth in competitive markets and people-first leadership approach will be a significant asset to the local team.

“Kyle brings a vast amount of experience in successfully navigating complex and competitive markets with a deep understanding of our business and purpose. We are delighted to welcome Kyle to ANZ and know he will lead the team to new heights,” says Mr Tan.

During his 14-year tenure at PepsiCo, Mr Faulconer has held a range of roles and responsibilities covering specialties including field operations, strategic account leadership, and direct-to-consumer sales strategy.

In his new role as CEO, Mr Faulconer will focus on driving innovation and further growth across the PepsiCo portfolio of drinks and snacks, alongside strengthening the market’s purpose and people-lead business operations.
