OTR brings convenience to city

OTR has proudly opened the doors to its 150th store on Rundle Street in Adelaide’s CBD.

The OTR Rundle Street concept store is a $700,000 investment into developing the most innovative and convenient model for customers, based on international best-practice for convenience stores.

The 24/7 store, is designed for busy workers, tourists, students, and shoppers on foot.

It is the first ever cashless OTR store and one of the first retail outlets in South Australia to operate entirely cashless.

“The uniqueness of OTR Rundle St shows how far convenience retailing has come,” says OTR General Manager, Darryl Cotter.

“Customers will be able to move in and out of the store quickly with window service allowing for quick pick-up of pre-ordered items.

“We also have a large range of self-serve items including ready meals which customers can warm up in store, self-serve hot food, pastries and a great range of supermarket items.”

Other items that the OTR store will have in stock include, Nitro Brew coffee, cold-pressed juices, locally-roasted barista-made C Coffee, a new sandwich range, ready meals from Cucina and Beyond India, Sushi Sushi and the Krispy Kreme doughtnuts.

“We are excited to take everything that customers love best from this new concept to future street stores. We will be listening to feedback and tailoring future stores to customers’ habits, needs and wants, to give back to the people of South Australia,” Mr Cotter concluded.
