My Muscle Chef introduces protein cookies to range

My Muscle Chef (MYMC) has introduced new Protein Cookies in three delicious flavours for an on-the-go snack to top up protein intake, satisfy sweet cravings and keep consumers satisfied for longer.

MYMC’s new Protein Cookies have been formulated to be a high protein snack to be enjoyed as a post-workout recovery snack or a way to relieve the 3pm energy dip. The combination of whey protein and prebiotic fibre will keep consumers feeling satisfied.

“Our new Protein Cookies are a great addition to MYMC’s range of functional healthy foods and are a great way for our customers to support muscle strength and fuel their recovery. These oven-baked snacks not only taste great, but include 25g of protein and are a great source of prebiotic fibre to give you a boost on the go,” says My Muscle Chef Co-Founder Tushar Menon.

“Our new Protein Cookies are a great addition to our existing functional healthy foods and are an indulgent way for our customers to support muscle strength and fuel recovery. With 98% of recovery snacks in the market currently being bars, we’ve identified an opportunity for our cookies to meet MYMC’s customers needs perfectly complementing our existing high protein and on-the-go range our customers know and love,” says My Muscle Chef Head of Sales Alex Adcock.

Each of the new range’s three flavours Salted Caramel and Macadamia, Choc Chip and Triple Choc, include a combination of whey protein, good fats from nuts and prebiotic fibre. MYMC’s Protein Cookies are free from added sugars and preservatives, and exclude artificial flavours and colours that typically be found in protein cookies.

“High protein snacks like MYMC’s new Protein Cookies are a great way to satisfy sweet cravings without overindulging in high carb and fatty foods, and can allow us to retain balanced blood sugar levels. The new Protein Cookies are also an essential for post-workout recovery as they assist in rebuilding muscle strength immediately,” My Muscle Chef Head Nutritionist and Dietitian Ryan Pinto said.

The new Protein Cookies (RRP $4.50 for individual cookies) are available to purchase at selected retail supermarkets, petrol and convenience stores.
