Mobil Budget Huskisson raises over $21,000 for charity

To celebrate the grand opening of Mobil Budget Huskisson, Budget Petrol co-ordinated a classic car cruise from one of its first locations, Budget Petrol Kingsgrove, down to its newest, Mobil Budget Huskisson.

The ticketed event saw over 60 classic cars participate in the drive, joining the hundreds of attendees gathered at the Huskisson Sports Ground for a special family day out.

“The DJ, food stalls, jumping castle and face painting were a tremendous success with special performances from a local magician,” says Budget Petrol.

Just across the road, Mobil Budget Huskisson treated customers to a variety of free giveaways including free fuel for the classic car participants.

The day raised over $21,400 to be split evenly between the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Down Syndrome Australia charities.

Budget Petrol is a family business, started in 1985 by two Australian families passionate about creating a chain of local independent service stations to service the community’s needs.

“The current ‘Proudly Australian’ campaign pays tribute to the Aussie spirit of support and generosity,” says Budget Petrol.
