Michel’s knows how to satisfy customers

Roy Morgan’s Coffee Shop Satisfaction Report shows that Michel’s is leading in customer satisfaction, with a rating of 87.3%.

Other coffee shops ranked as follows:

  • Donut King (86.6%)
  • Starbucks Coffee (84.5%)
  • The Coffee Club (83.8%)
  • Gloria Jean’s (82.4%).

Roy Morgan CEO, Michele Levine says that businesses that deliver what their customers want, are businesses that consumers keep returning to.

“American giant Starbucks Coffee, which first opened its doors in Australia in 2000, has had a mixed year in terms of customer satisfaction, often coming in and out of the placings of leading stores.

“However, things may be looking up for Starbucks Coffee, as it recorded its highest customer satisfaction rating of the year with 84.5% and finished in its highest position of third,” says Ms Levine.

How was this tested?

The newly released customer satisfaction ratings have been obtained from the Roy Morgan Single Source survey, which is compiled by in-depth face-to-face interviews, with around 50,000 Australians each year, in their homes.
