Krispy Kreme on lookout for Hot Light factory manager

Dough-not close the browser, Krispy Kreme SA will open its first Hot Light factory store outside of metropolitan Adelaide in Mount Gambier by Christmas.

The Krispy Kreme will be co-located with the new OTR Mount Gambier East complex.

What is a Hot Light factory? It’s a world-famous sweet experience, the allows customer to enjoy hot, fresh, Original Glazed doughnuts as they roll off the line, every day.

“Krispy Kreme is an iconic international brand steeped in history, and we’re excited to set up a production and processing operation to support the local retail business in Mount Gambier,” says Krispy Kreme SA General Manager, Mark Higginbottom.

The team is on the lookout for the right person to run this exciting business.

“We are hoping to secure the best applicant for this exciting role, they don’t come around very often, and this will be the first role if its kind in Mount Gambier,” explains Mr Higginbottom.

The OTR Mount Gambier East development affirms OTR’s commitment to ongoing investment in South Australia. The company has built or refurbished 12 stores in the past year, with a further 18 to open by the end of the year.

“This exciting development in Mount Gambier will engage local contractors during the construction phase, and create an additional 15 permanent roles to be filled by people of all ages from the Mount Gambier community,” says Head of Community Partnerships & PR for OTR, Joann Skene.

The new Mount Gambier East development comes just over two years since OTR launched its innovative community program OTRGive in June 2018.
