Over the next few months, Koko Black will be releasing limited-edition provocative chocolates using innovative flavour combinations and ingredients “no other chocolatier has dared before.”
Foodies can expect the unexpected as Koko Black “unleashes a fiery fusion” for adventurous chocolate connoisseurs, starting with its first ambitious treat, Wasabi Peas. Following this, Koko Black will unveil its limited-edition Truffle Pralines in August, redefining luxury to new dimensions, and then Pumpkin Spice Marbles in October, bringing a sweet and spicy delight to the spooky season.

Koko Black Head Chocolatier, Remco Brigou exclaims the thrill of creating the first release of Single Batch, Wasabi Peas, inspired to achieve a flavour combination for wasabi that’s just as iconic as its pairing to sushi.
“Everyone talks about the combination of chilli and chocolate, so we wanted to play on this with a different type of heat. There’s a common misconception that wasabi is very hot, however, it is a spice that hits the nose rather than the tongue like chilli does. By incorporating wasabi with a rich 54% dark chocolate, the balance of heat to sweet is
harmonious and delectable, and you can’t neglect the crunch of the peas either, which fundamentally elevates any snacking experience.
“We’re all about stirring the chocolate pot at Koko Black, so we knew this unexpected combo had to be the very first of our Single Batch releases. Once you try it, you won’t be able to deny it,” Mr Brigou said.
