This month, JAX Tyres & Auto Toowoomba franchise owners, Steve and Jenni Berlin, are celebrating 15 years of delivering “trusted” automotive and tyre services to the local community.
Since opening in 2010, the Queensland business has expanded “significantly, driven by consistent service and a loyal customer base”, with the husband-and-wife duo at the helm the entire period.
According to the couple, their ability to anticipate and respond to changing customer needs, particularly the rise in demand for 4WD servicing and off-road expertise, has been key to their success.
“Reaching this 15-year milestone is an exciting moment for the whole team,” says Mr Berlin.
“We’ve worked hard to build a strong, supportive culture with some of our staff sticking with us for over 10 years.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support over the years and look forward to continuing to provide the highest level of service for many more to come.”
Today, around 50% of the business is dedicated to mechanical work, alongside tyres.
Mr and Ms Berlin support a range of community initiatives to strengthen their connection to the local area and its people, including:
- Donating $200 each Friday night to Toowoomba City Golf Club to support rotating local charities.
- Sponsoring the Harristown State High School basketball team.
- Ole Blue 4WD community events, contributing prizes and giveaways.
“Giving back has always been important to us,” says Ms Berlin.
“We live here, work here, and supporting the people around us is a big part of who we are.”
Operating since 1949, JAX Tyres & Auto began its franchising journey in 1993 and has since grown into a national network of 94 locations, with 84 independently owned by franchisees. Today, the brand supports more than 1000 employees across Australia.
