Inland Petroleum provides support to community

By Australasian Convenience and Petroleum Marketers Association Executive Manager for Employment and Training Elisha Radwanowski.

As the Delta variant sent the Dubbo region in NSW into lockdown local fixture Inland Petroleum kicked into gear and got out to support the communities tireless Covid testing of staff and the Dubbo Regional Council with a donation of more than 1000 litres of sanitiser.

We have said it repeatedly, the fuel wholesale and retail industry is an essential service, that is clear and well known.  What is often less clear is the role these businesses play in their community.  From supporting the local sports club, to the more niche support that the community needs at the time, these businesses go the extra mile for their communities, and in most cases they do so without anyone knowing.

This initiative is fabulous and is just one of the community support actions Inland has taken over its many years in the community. Covid has placed all businesses and communities across the country under pressure. I am proud to see, and throw a spotlight on yet another business that is doing its bit to support the community as it deals with this pressure.

Inland Petroleum, ever modest, has focused on getting the message out there that staying safe and staying home and ‘hanging in there’ will get us all through.

Great work Inland, stay safe and keep it up!
