Four’N Twenty brings back Local Legends Mark of the Week competition

Four’N Twenty has announced its popular Local Legends Mark of the Week competition will return for the 2022 season to celebrate the best of local grassroots footy.

The competition is open to every junior and senior local footy club nationwide. Fans and players all over Australia are encouraged to enter videos and photos of their club’s best speccies, hangers and screamers – with one local legend awarded each week.

Each week’s winner will have their image and name published in Sports Entertainment Network’s official Four’N Twenty AFL Record and receive 250 original Four’N Twenty pies for their club – not to mention bragging rights and legendary status.

Four’N Twenty Ambassador Tayla Harris has applauded the initiative: “The Four’N Twenty Mark of the Week competition is a great way to showcase the best of club footy. Local heroes can be made in a moment on the footy field and it’s pretty special to witness these moments.

Patties Foods Group General Manager of Marketing and Innovation Anand Surujpal says,

“Supporting the grass roots community is so important to Four’N Twenty. The big marks don’t always happen on the big screen, they’re happening at local footy grounds every week and we’re excited to share them with Australia. AFL is the people’s game and everyone loves a spectacular mark!”

The community initiative is an extension of Four’N Twenty’s multi-year partnership with the AFL, in which it is recognised as the official pie of the AFL and naming sponsor of AFL Mark of the Year.
