First stage of Beaudesert convenience centre finished

The $10 million service-and-convenience shopping centre in Beaudesert, Queensland, is anchored by Caltex StarMart.

The 4,502sqm precinct fronts Beaudesert-Nerang Road and is the first roadside convenience centre as you enter Beaudesert – a key inter-regional corridor for those commuting to Beenleigh, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Three tenancies remain at the convenience centre, which currently has a Caltex StarMart and a Brodies Chicken & Burgers.

Noodle Box has committed to a 71sqm tenancy between Caltex and Brodies, subject to securing a local franchisee to operate the store, which will be its first in the Scenic Rim.

The remaining tenancies include a 125sqm space with provision for drive-thru service and 77sqm and 68sqm tenancies, suitable for takeaway food operators.

According to the site developers, Ray Group, Beaudesert’s population is expected to almost triple from 14,000 people to about 47,000 by 2036.
