Bowser Bean kicks off 2022 with Kombi tour

It has been an exciting start to 2022 for Bowser Bean, with several grand openings and activations across Victoria with more to come throughout the year.

The retailer kicked off with the grand opening of its new BP site in Echuca launching in February and offering local customers Bowser Bean’s Melbourne-roasted barista made coffee and delicious cheeseburgers.

Following the successful launch of Echuca, Bowser Bean continued to delight the local customers of Strathmerton and Violet Town with an additional two grand opening events to celebrate their recent refurbishments under the Shell banner.

All three events had the famous Bowser Bean Kombi on site offering free barista crafted coffee throughout the day. The crowds tried their luck on the spinning wheel with the chance to win prizes, including Xbox, snowboards, Galaxy tablets as well as instore products such as Bowser Bean’s delicious cinnamon scrolls, dim sims, and potato cakes.

“Mouth-watering” cheeseburgers were given away to local customers as they were treated to the exceptional Bowser Bean food offering whilst relaxing and enjoying the new modern dining areas.

“The Grand Opening Kombi Tour has been a great opportunity for our team to meet and engage with our customers whilst showcasing our world class food, coffee and shop offering,” says Bowser Bean Managing Director Haydn Tierney.

The Bowser Bean Kombi made its way down to Deakin University Waurn Ponds Campus in Geelong for its O-Week Market Day.

“Students were loving the presence of the Kombi, with the Bowser Bean crew smashing out over 300 coffees during the two-hour event.”

Bowser Bean used the activation not only to build brand awareness amongst students, but also as a recruitment drive for their two Geelong sites.

“We value establishing a connection with the younger market to get them hooked onto the Bowser Bean brand early, fostering the relationship for long-term loyalty,” Mr Tierney said.

Bowser Bean continues its growth strategy across south eastern Australia and is looking forward to a full calendar of activations throughout 2022.
