Ampol partners with Surf Life Saving Australia

Ampol is catching a wave, with the Ampol logo to reside on the sleeve of the iconic surf lifesaving patrol shirt on beaches across the country.

Managing Director and CEO of Ampol, Matthew Halliday talks about the positive new partnership.

“A number of our employees are long-term surf lifesaving volunteers at their local surf lifesaving clubs, and we look forward to getting more involved by activating our retail network and broader infrastructure assets to promote surf safety messages and to support SLSA’s important work.”

CEO of SLSA Adam Weir, says that they’re pleased with the new partnership.

“Through Ampol’s partnership supporting front line services we will be able to reach more people with our public safety messaging campaigns through Ampol service stations and that will help save lives.”

In addition to the brand logo being placed on their shirts, Ampol will have a strong presence at major surf lifesaving events.

The new logo will be presented on uniforms in early 2021.
