Amazon Australia rewards front-line employees

    Amazon is making sure their employees feel appreciated, as this year has been like no other.

    Combined with other holiday pay incentives Amazon is investing over US$750 million in additional pay for their front-line hourly workforce.

    For Aussie employees who were employed by the company from 1 December to 31 December will qualify for a bonus of AU$600 for full-time employees and AU$300 for part-time employees.

    Amazon’s retail chief, Dave Clark adds to the announcement: “Our teams are doing amazing work serving customers’ essential needs, while also helping to bring some much-needed holiday cheer for socially-distanced families around the world.

    “I’ve never been more grateful for – or proud of – our teams.”
