Amaysim helps customers stay connected through tough times

As unprecedented crises take hold in Eastern Australia and Ukraine, Australian telco amaysim has announced two offers of disaster support to help its customers stay connected.

In response to the devastating floods in South-East Queensland and Northern NSW, amaysim is giving affected customers free calls, texts, and bonus data for the month of March.

“Flood-affected customers will automatically receive 10GB of bonus data on $10 plans, 20GB of data on $20 plans and 30GB of data on $30, $40, and $50 plans. Impacted as you go customers will also receive free calls and text,” amaysim said in a statement.

“Additionally, customers with family and friends in war-torn Ukraine will be credited back for all international calls and texts to the country, during the month of March, making it a little easier to connect with their loved ones.”

These offers will be available until 31 March 2022. amaysim will continue to monitor the situation and extend support as needed.

Head of amaysim Renee Garner says the company wants to help its customers during a hugely challenging time both here and abroad.

It’s been a hugely challenging time for many of our customers that have been affected by the devasting floods or have friends and family in Ukraine.
