7-Eleven offering convenience with a twist at Melbourne Food & Wine Festival

7-Eleven is teaming up with the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival to bring Melburnians a “retail experience like no other”.

From tomorrow (25 March) to 3 April, the convenience retailer is setting up shop at the Queen Victoria Market.

The Convenient Store, presented by 7-Eleven, is a “Melbourne-twist” on the convenience store concept.

The menu will feature “reimagined” 7-Eleven products stocked alongside some of Melbourne’s “most cherished eatery favourites”.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy an exclusive first taste of the new hot deli sandwiches coming soon to selected 7-Eleven stores.

Between 4pm and 7pm, The Convenient Store will be transformed into a bar, showcasing a cocktail list of Slurpee cocktails, alongside some “local favourites”.

“We continue to challenge and improve the product we put into our stores because we know consumer preferences are changing,” says 7-Eleven Head of Food Emma Metcalf-King.

“Melbournians are big on their food, so what better way to disrupt consumer perceptions on what a convenience store can offer than with the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival. This is a 7-Eleven, but not as you know it today.”

The Convenient Store, located on the corner of Queen and Franklin Streets at Queen Victoria Market, will be open daily between 8am and 7pm.
