7-Eleven introduces new drink options

7-Eleven Australia is providing more icy drink options with new self-serve, blend your own drink machines.

After a trial in selected stores over the past year, 7-Eleven has installed the new self-serve machines across Western Australia and Queensland this month. NSW and Victoria are expected to get state-wide access next year.

The new self-serve machines make more than 30 different blended drink options including smoothies, frappes, lemonades and shakes.

7-Eleven Australia General Manager – Customer Julie Laycock says the new smoothie machines are already proving popular.

“We ramped up our trial on the new machines in select stores in 2021, and customers have loved this cool new offer,” she says.

“I think the machines have been a bit of a social media hit as people have spotted them in store. Some of our customers’ videos of discovering the machines have even gone viral with millions of views which is fantastic.

“We’re there to make summer wonderfully easier 24/7 for our customers. Being able to provide new and exclusive options for our customers to try is what we get excited about, so it’s great to see our customers’ reactions to the new drink options.”

New Slurpee flavours

Ms Laycock adds that fans of the Slurpee won’t miss out, with new flavours to try across the country.

“In our stores nationwide, there will be new Slurpee flavours and the chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes as part of the Slurpee Mystery Flavours campaign,” she says.

“There’s two mystery flavours a month on rotation until February…

“Customers can win a share of $10,000 worth of gift cards, 12,500 instant win Slurpees or $7500 of holiday vouchers by buying a 7-Eleven Mystery Flavour, scanning the QR code to enter the competition and correctly guessing what flavour it is.”

For those looking for low sugar options, 7-Eleven is providing a range of rotating Slurpee Low Sugar flavours in every store nationwide.

“We were the first in Australia to invest in providing customers with the choice of a low sugar option in the category,” says Ms Laycock.

“There will be a range of delicious low sugar options for consumers to choose from. [This month has seen] Slurpee Low Sugar Wildberry Cream and Slurpee Low Sugar Sour Apple in rotation, with Slurpee Low Sugar Kiwi Strawberry and Slurpee Low Sugar Pink Lemonade available in December.”
