Longstanding franchisees Mayur Patel, Hemal and Mona Keniya, Rupa and Nik Patel have opened a new Zarraffa’s Coffee at Springwood Shopping Mall, Queensland.
The Springwood store marks an exciting new chapter for franchisee group, whose journey with Zarraffa’s Coffee spans almost 20 years. The group now collectively operates six stores across Queensland at Currumbin, Ferry Road, Heathwood, Hendra, Sugarland and now at Springwood.
The new location also represents the next step for the former Chatswood Road Store, which served the community for 14 years before closing in 2025. Its transition to Springwood has paved the way for the new Zarraffa’s Drive Through model, bringing greater convenience and faster service to local coffee lovers.
“Springwood has always held a special place for us because of the strong relationships we have built throughout the 14 years we served the community at Chatswood Road and became part of their daily routines,” said franchisee Mayur Patel.
“When the store closed, we had always hoped we would have the opportunity to return and now we’re excited to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new customers through the drive through, this time offering even more convenience.”
Bringing convenience to Springwood
The latest store has been thoughtfully designed to make customer’s Zarraffa’s experience easier, faster and more convenient, whether they’re grabbing a morning coffee, picking up breakfast or treating themself while on the go.
The menu features Zarraffa’s signature coffee blends alongside a range of food options, including freshly baked in-store items, breakfast favourites and snacks.
Customers can head through the drive through or walk up to the service window for all their Zarraffa’s favourites.
The new store is also expected to create up to 25 local jobs, with a strong focus on training and development as the team settles into its new home. The opening comes as Zarraffa’s Coffee celebrates 30 years of serving coffee and growing alongside the communities it calls home. Zarraffa’s Coffee has more than 85 stores across Queensland, NSW, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria.
